Over 700 school children aged seven to 11, from 15 primary schools across Lincolnshire, will be heading to the Lincolnshire Showground on 5th and 6th October as part of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society’s Lincolnshire Day celebrations.
Every year local businesses and organisations give up their time to talk to the children in Key Stage 2 about the county’s food, farming, crafts and traditions and teach them new skills such as cheese making, weaving and leather stamping.
They can also take part in activities such as archery, football and minibeast investigations with the Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project!
Activities will take place on both days from 10am till 2.40pm.
