Truelove Sticks With Supporting Ice Hockey Stars

Lincoln-based Truelove Property & Construction has announced a sponsorship deal with ice hockey stars the Nottingham Panthers for a sixth year.

The family-run business, which builds homes in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, has been supporting the Nottingham Panthers professional ice hockey team since 2011 and has signed up to another year of sporting success for this 17-18 season.

Director Barrie Truelove said: “We’re proud to be a sponsor of the Panthers. Sport is important to us as a company and to have such a successful team on our doorstep in Nottingham is fantastic. If you’ve never been down to the arena to watch them in action, it’s truly a spectacle for all the family.”

The company also own Lace Market Properties Ltd, a rental property business in Nottingham which converts warehouses into stylish apartments. As part of the sponsorship, Truelove provides the Nottingham Panthers with accommodation to one of its apartments and access to city-centre parking for six players for the duration of the season.

Gary Moran, General Manager at the Nottingham Panthers, said: “We’re delighted that Truelove have extended their support to us with accommodation for a sixth year. The initiative is great because it means that our players can base themselves in Nottingham and can easily access the ice rink and all of the training facilities.”

Rising Panthers star Josh Tetlow, who moved to Nottingham to join the Panthers this year, said: “Having accommodation on the doorstep of the arena has made it feel like my second home already. I took to the ice for the first time during the Panthers historic Champions Hockey League (CHL) campaign so Nottingham already holds fond memories for me.

“I’m really grateful to be able to call the city my home and have somewhere to train hard with the Panthers team.”

As part of the sponsorship Truelove Property & Construction will be giving away tickets to the Panthers’ upcoming games this season via social media.
