Lucky Pair Win Colouring Competition at Ethan’s!
Over 40 budding artists from across the county have put their talents to the test in a colouring contest at Ethan’s Steakhouse & Sushi Bar in Lincoln.
The restaurant on Doddington Road, which introduced a new junior menu earlier this year, launched a Japanese-themed colouring competition in time for the half-term holidays. The winner, Ben Lintin (8), received a Nintendo 2DS console while runner-up Charlie Hare (12) received a two-hour virtual reality session at Tension VR in Lincoln.
Director Stuart Carey said: “It was very hard to pick a winner as the entries were so good but Ben and Charlie’s designs showed real artistic flair and we hope they enjoy their prizes. I’d like to congratulate both our young stars and of course thank Tension VR in Lincoln who very kindly provided one of the prizes. I’m sure Charlie and his family will enjoy their visit.”
Ben Lintin, said: “I’m excited to get a Nintendo 2DS. I really wanted to win so I took the picture home so I could spend more time colouring it in with my felt tips.”
Stuart added: “Ethan’s is a family-friendly restaurant and we thought the competition would be a good way of encouraging more parents to bring their children. We have a wide and varied children’s menu which caters for even the fussiest of eaters. As well as international dishes like yakitori chicken skewers and salmon with teriyaki sauce we’ve also included traditional classics like fish fingers, pizza and hot dogs.
“We had such a good response to the competition from our diners that we’re now busy planning similar competitions in the future.
“As a parent, I know it can be hard to find things to do with the kids particularly when they are off school. A trip to Ethan’s is a great way of keeping them entertained plus kids eat free from Monday to Saturday between 12 noon and 6pm!”
