A-level Students Celebrate Success at North Kesteven Academy
Students at North Kesteven Academy in North Hykeham near Lincoln have been celebrating their A-level successes on results day this morning.
In Chemistry 100 per cent of students achieved A* or A grades at A-level while more than half of students taking Art A-level achieved A* or A grades. Nearly all students taking English A-level achieved grades A* to C.
Students who studied Drama at A-level achieved a significant number of the highest grades; those studying Product Design and Psychology A-level also did exceptionally well this year; and there were also some significant successes in vocational subjects including Engineering and all Performing Arts subjects.
“We are really proud of our students who have done incredibly well as a cohort this year,” said Jo Tunnicliffe, Headteacher of North Kesteven Academy.
“Our teachers have also worked so hard and we have had some real success stories. We’ve seen outstanding departments achieving even higher success this year than in previous years.
“It’s all down to the hard work of both students and staff and we’d like to congratulate everyone involved for their fantastic achievements.”
