Andrew & Co Solicitors is continuing to expand with the appointment of commercial property solicitor John Roper.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2004, John has experience in a wide range of commercial property work including landlord and tenant law, sales and acquisitions, options, pre-emption agreements and conditional contracts. He has also acted for lenders, pension schemes and trusts.

Prior to joining Andrew & Co, John (47) worked for a prominent commercial practice in Spalding.

“I was looking to progress my career and move back to Lincoln,” explained John. “When the opportunity became available at Andrew & Co, it was a case of right place, right time as they have an excellent reputation in the area.

“In my previous job I was doing a lot of work in the agricultural sector, which I enjoy and will continue to undertake, but was attracted by this role as it also includes commercial property work which is a bit more fast-paced and challenging.

“Andrew & Co has a high-calibre client base and were looking for someone senior. Part of the role is business development which I also enjoy being involved in. Lincoln is a vibrant city which is going through an exciting period of growth and it will be good to be a part of that.”
