New Year, New Contract!
After going through a competitive tender process we were over the moon last week to find out we’d been awarded the new onlincolnshire PR contract!
Part-funded by the East Midlands European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Lincolnshire County Council’s onlincolnshire project aims to raise awareness of the potential of superfast broadband and stimulate demand ahead of the rollout over the next few years.
We were originally appointed in May 2012 to deliver a multi-channel PR, communications and events campaign but the contract had to be re-tendered after the council was awarded two further tranches of funding worth £426,000.
Our Account Manager Cerri Delaney will continue to work with the council and its partners to promote the project’s activities, including the provision of free business support and masterclasses on online services such as social media and cloud computing.
We will also be supporting the launch of two new Lincolnshire Technology Hubs in Horncastle and Lincoln and raising awareness of the cutting-edge equipment at the hubs which is available to hire free of charge if your business is eligible.
If you run a business or are thinking of starting one in Lincolnshire or Rutland and you’d like to find out if you could benefit from the support onlincolnshire provides please visit www.onlincolnshire.org. KS
The onlincolnshire project is part-financed by the East Midlands European Regional Development Fund Programme 2007 to 2013. The Department for Communities and Local Government is the managing authority for the European Regional Development Fund Programme, which is one of the funds established by the European Commission to help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support local businesses and create jobs.
