We’ve Been Shortlisted for a CIPR Award
All of us at Shooting Star are celebrating today after being shortlisted for Outstanding Small Consultancy in the CIPR PRide Awards (Yorkshire and Lincolnshire). The awards are the industry’s way of recognising excellence within – it’s our version of the Oscars so you can imagine how excited we all are.
We are up against some really tough competition but we feel with the work we’ve done over the last year we have a great chance of winning. Better not say that too loud though! Even getting to the final is a big achievement so we are feeling justifiably proud of ourselves.
It has been a real team effort to get to where we are and each person brings something different to the mix. We have expertise in a whole range of different areas including copywriting, media relations, social media and crisis management and we’ve recently appointed Marketing Manager Charley Sowden to expand our range of services even further. We have big plans for the future too so watch this space!
We won’t find out if we’ve won until 27th November so for now we will just enjoy having got this far and congratulate our fellow finalists on a great achievement.
