Wimbledon Fever Sweeps Shooting Star Office

With Wimbledon just around the corner, we’re looking forward to celebrating all that is great about the championship, which brings top players from around the world to the British Centre Court.

In June and July we’re going to attempt to recreate the Wimbledon atmosphere right here in the centre of Lincoln. As well as hosting our own in-house championship, the office will be awash with all that is synonymous with Wimbledon: strawberries and cream, Pimms and lemonade and maybe even a celebrity or two.

We’re also taking this opportunity to run the very first Shooting Star Wimbledon Sweep! In return for a £5 donation to YMCA Lincolnshire – our charity of the year – the name of one of the top 20 seeded men and women will be picked from a hat and assigned to you. Not only that, we’ll volley your company logo onto our online tennis court.

You can enter as many times as you’d like, but to be eligible to take part you’ll need to correctly answer this simple question: who won the 2014 Men’s Wimbledon Championship?

To take part in the Wimbledon Sweep and get your logo on the court email the answer to the question via hello@weareshootingstar.co.uk and drop into the office at 154 High Street, Lincoln with your donation, or pay via our JustGiving page or BACS transfer.

Once time has been called on Centre Court, the Wimbledon Sweep winners will each receive a bottle of Wimbledon-themed Lanson Champagne!

We believe in giving something back to the local community, which is why this year we’re provide free PR advice and expertise to YMCA Lincolnshire. As part of our ongoing commitment to the charity, Shooting Star will match the donations made to the sweep.
