Quiz, Chips & Mushy Peas Returns!
We are pleased to announce that our annual feast for the mind returns this year, and it’s expected to be better than ever!
As part of the support for our charity of the year we organise a quiz night with a difference, and the aptly-named ‘Quiz, Chips & Mushy Peas’ returns this year on 30th November to help raise some extra cash for Lincolnshire YMCA and Nomad Trust.
Lincolnshire YMCA not only works closely with young people, but the charity also works hard to manage 150 units of accommodation and runs both a gym and two childcare facilities.
Last year we managed to raise over £700 for the Ethan Maull ‘Up Yours to Cancer’ Foundation and we’ve got ambitions to exceed that figure this year.
Following the success of our 2015 event we’ve also decided to change the venue to The Elite Fish & Chip Company restaurant on Tritton Road in Lincoln which seats up to 100 people.
The quiz is open to teams of four and costs £15 per person which includes a fish and chip supper with mushy peas and bread and butter. As well as a prize for the overall winner there’ll also be the opportunity to win big in the raffle!
