We’re Helping Young and Old in 2017

This year, we’re championing not just one but two charities of the year!

We’re offering PR and marketing services and expertise free of charge to the Children’s Bereavement Centre in Newark as well as the Marmalade Trust which operates in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

The Children’s Bereavement Centre has been providing unique support for children suffering from bereavement and loss in Nottinghamshire and parts of Lincolnshire for 14 years and now also offers outreach support, with hopes to expand this into Lincolnshire over the next few years.

Marmalade Trust was founded by Amy Perrin in 2013 when she identified a lack of events on Christmas Day for older people she knew were otherwise going to be on their own.

In 2016 the charity gave companionship and a Christmas meal to over 90 guests in five restaurant venues across Bristol. This year, the charity is expanding to include a buddy system which aims to support those who are most at risk of loneliness with finding new friendships throughout the year.

Since launching our charity of the year initiative in 2009, we’ve helped eight charities in Lincolnshire that otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford ongoing PR and marketing activity including Candles, The Ally Cadence Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy and The Ethan Maull ‘Up Yours To Cancer!’ Foundation.

We’re delighted to be expanding our charitable efforts in the South West this year alongside our business.
