We’re Representing Lincs in the CIPR Awards!

For the second year running Shooting Star is the only Lincolnshire-based PR agency to have been shortlisted in the prestigious CIPR PRide Awards.

The awards are the industry’s way of recognising best practice so you can imagine how delighted we are to be through the finals in two categories: STEM Campaign and Community Relations Campaign.

Although we are up against some really tough competition in the second category, we’re the only finalist in the STEM Campaign category, so hopefully we’ve got a good chance of coming home with at least one Gold award!

It’s been a busy year so far with new staff members Sharon Foster and Kerri Saxby joining the team, but everyone has really got on board with what we’re trying to achieve at Shooting Star and winning these awards would be a testament to their hard work and enthusiasm.

You may have read we’ve also changed our name from Shooting Star PR to Shooting Star to represent the wider range of services we now offer including: copywriting, news releases, crisis management, online marketing and advertising. We have expansion plans for the future too so watch this space!

The winners of the CIPR Yorkshire & Lincolnshire PRide Awards will be announced at a glittering ceremony on 26th November at Aspire in Leeds. So all we’ve got to do now is plan what we’re going to wear!
