An Exciting and Event-Full Month!
As a PR agency, we love any excuse to network, and May is certainly full of opportunities.
Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be at five different events including the Lincolnshire Digital and Tech Awards, so if you’re attending, be sure to say hi to the team – there may even be some goodies up for grabs!
We’ll also be at the Property and Business Investment Show at the Bentley Hotel in Lincoln on Wednesday 10th May.
Following a four-year break, the event is returning to the city with a revised format which includes a morning exhibition, followed by a networking lunch exclusively for ticket holders.
The show has been running in Nottingham for the last 17 years and is a great event for businesses or individuals in the property, construction or finance sectors.
Our Marketing Manager Sharon Foster and Account Executive Zoe Lamb will be on plot 15 throughout the exhibition and are also attending the lunch.
The following day, Director Kate Strawson will be at the fifth annual Building a Better Business event at The Showroom in Lincoln.
Organised by the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, Streets Chartered Accountants and the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub, the focus for this year’s event is around improving performance.
Kate will be ready to meet some new and familiar faces at the Shooting Star stand and will be part of a panel of industry experts who will share their top tips and advice with delegates.
On Wednesday 17th May, Account Director Sarah-Jane Freni will be popping over to Business Showcase Southwest at the Ashton Gate Stadium – the largest free business event in the South West of England.
Sarah-Jane will be giving a talk entitled ‘Make PR count – how to ensure you get the best RoI on your PR strategy’ from 12 noon. Register here.
Meanwhile, on the same day in Lincoln, some of the team will be attending the first Lincolnshire Tech Expo and Conference.
Pop along to the Epic Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground for a chat with Marketing Manager Sharon Foster, Account Executive Zoe Lamb and Director Kate Strawson.
At 1pm, Kate will be delivering her seminar: ‘The SMART Approach to Social Media Marketing’. Visit the Eventbrite page to register for a free place.
In the evening, Kate and Account Manager Mike Shields will be going along to the Lincolnshire Digital and Tech Awards and hoping to come away with the trophy for Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year. Fingers crossed they won’t be disappointed!
It’s a busy month for the Shooting Star team but we’re looking forward to getting out and about. And of course, if you have any PR or marketing related questions, feel free to ask one of the team for some advice.
