We’re PRoud to Announce Our Award Nominations

It’s been a busy year for Shooting Star so far, with many new client wins over the past seven months, and now it seems all that hard work has paid off. We’ve been nominated not just once but twice for a prestigious CIPR PRide Award 2017!

We’ve been shortlisted in both the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region and the South England and Channel Islands region in the Arts, Culture or Sport category for our ‘From Sidecars to Superstars’ campaign.

In 2016 we were appointed to raise the profile of reigning British F1 sidecar champions Ricky Stevens and Ryan Charlwood, more commonly known as Ricky and Ryan.

These nominations recognise the success of the social media campaign we executed for the pair.

It’s a real privilege to have been shortlisted again, after winning two awards at the CIPR Yorkshire and Lincolnshire PRide Awards in November 2015. We won silver in the Community Relations Campaign category for the Freshtime Fun Club, and took home the gold award in the STEM Campaign category for our work with onlincolnshire.

This year we’re up against some great competitors in both regions but hopefully we can come out on top once again, as it would be a testament to the commitment and hard work of those who delivered the campaign.

The winners will be announced at awards ceremonies in Leeds and Bristol in November. Please keep everything crossed for us!  SM
