The sky’s the limit for us at Shooting Star!

2018 is turning out to be a year of astronomical growth with new client acquisitions, renewed contracts and two new hires all in the first quarter!

As well as recruiting a senior account executive to support our existing retainer clients, we’ve also filled the brand new position of digital marketer.

This makes the Shooting Star team the biggest it’s been in our 12-year history!

Luke Thompson has taken the senior account executive position and Wale Ajibade is the company’s new digital marketer.

Luke is a born and bred Yellowbelly and after spending the last five years in Chester, moved back to Lincolnshire to take up the new position. Before joining Shooting Star, he spent three years working in political communications. Luke will contribute to the PR, marketing, digital and social media work we undertake for our clients.

Wale moved to England at the end of last year from Nigeria and specialises in digital marketing. He brings with him a wealth of experience in search engine optimisation and social media marketing.

Before joining the team, he oversaw digital marketing and communications for a not-for-profit organisation in Nigeria. He will work closely with Sharon Foster, our brilliant marketing manager.
