A Strong Start to 2026 for Shooting Star!
A strong first quarter is always encouraging, but for Shooting Star 2026 has really started with a bang!
We’ve won a host of new clients across a range of sectors including hospitality, manufacturing, defence, wellbeing and digital innovation.
However, it’s not just about adding names to our client list, it’s about partnering with ambitious organisations that want to grow, raise their profile and achieve real results.
One of our standout new clients is the Bentley Hotel & Spa in Lincoln, which is currently undergoing a significant refurbishment and repositioning. With a new general manager at the helm and a clear vision to reclaim its status as Lincoln’s only luxury spa hotel with a pool, the opportunity goes far beyond a simple relaunch.
We’re developing and delivering a fully integrated PR and marketing strategy that connects every touchpoint, from social media and email marketing to Google Ads and a brand new website. Alongside this, we’re building anticipation around the reopening of the leisure facilities, ensuring there’s a ready-made audience waiting when they fully reopen.
Because a refurbishment on its own doesn’t fill rooms – strategic, consistent marketing does.
Marketing to fuelling growth
The same thinking applies across our other new client work. We’re working with the Greater Lincolnshire Regional Defence and Security Cluster to strengthen its presence and influence on LinkedIn, helping it engage the right stakeholders and open up new opportunities.
With Made Smarter East Midlands and wellbeing charity Every-One, we’re using video content to tell compelling stories that connect with their audiences. And for Givicle, a new workplace giving platform, we’re delivering a focused six-month launch campaign designed to build awareness, credibility and, crucially, early adoption.
Different sectors, different audiences, but one consistent objective: fuelling growth. That’s where many businesses struggle. They invest in marketing activity but take a scattergun rather than a targeted approach, which ends up being a waste of time and money.
Our approach is different. We start with the end goal, whether that’s bookings, sign-ups or qualified leads, and work backwards. Every campaign, piece of content and channel is planned and carefully thought through.
A trusted network of specialists
The variety of work and clients is one of the reasons why we love our jobs at Shooting Star. Each of our team members has different skills and expertise that they can bring to the table, which makes our service offer wide-ranging.
If we don’t have the skills in-house, we have a range of trusted partners we work with to help our clients achieve their aims – from web designers and developers to videographers and graphic designers.
Basically, if we can’t do it, we know a woman or man who can, and we manage the project on our client’s behalf. That means clients get the benefit of a full marketing function without the hassle of managing multiple suppliers.
If this sounds like what your business needs, now’s a good time to start a conversation.
