Chippy Quiz Builds Funds for BRIC
Our ninth annual Chippy Quiz for charity was another great success!
Around 70 guests enjoyed a brain-teasing quiz and a fish and chip supper at The Elite Fish & Chip Company on Tritton Road in Lincoln and helped to raise £1,443 for BRIC (Building Resilience in Communities), our Charity of the Year for 2023.
Quizzers also had the opportunity to win one of 20 raffle prizes which had been generously donated by local businesses.
New Cods on the Block (POP Branding) were crowned as this year’s winners, receiving a coveted Chippy Quiz trophy created by event sponsor Micrometric and a Christmas hamper for each team member.
The winner of this year’s best team name was Wright Vigar using the name Cod Help Us.
BRIC works closely with the local community, schools and service providers to support children and their families after dealing with issues such as illness, disability, abuse, isolation, and the demands of having a young family.

“We also extend our heartfelt appreciation for planning and organising the annual Chippy Quiz to raise funds for our charity. Your initiative demonstrates not only your professional expertise but also your genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.”
We launched our annual chippy quiz in 2013 as a way of raising money for our Charity of the Year. So far, it’s helped to generate over £10,000!
