Chippy Quiz Raises Record Funds for The Network
We are delighted to announce that our 10th annual Chippy Quiz at The Elite Fish & Chip Company on Tritton Road, Lincoln raised an impressive £1,571.73 for The Network, our Charity of the Year during 2024.
Around 70 guests enjoyed a lively evening of brain-teasing trivia and delicious fish and chips, all while contributing to a great cause. As well as the quiz, one of the highlights of the evening on 25th November was a raffle featuring 16 fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses.
This year’s quiz champions, Heaven is a Plaice on Earth, took home the coveted Chippy Quiz trophy, made by event sponsor Micrometric, along with eight bottles of wine kindly donated by accountants Saul Fairholm. Meanwhile, the prize for the best team name went to Streets Chartered Accountants for Frying Nemo, who received a case of wine from The Elite.
Since its launch in 2013, the annual Chippy Quiz has become a popular annual event, raising over £11,000 to support various charities so far.
A special thank you goes to Nigel and the team at The Elite for hosting the event so superbly, and to Micrometric for their generous sponsorship, which played a key role in making this year’s quiz the most successful yet.
