Could You Be Our Charity of the Year for 2023?
If you know of a charity or not-for-profit organisation which needs help with marketing and PR, you can apply now to be our 2023 Charity of the Year!
The chosen charity will receive a year’s free PR and marketing support from us and we also stage fund-raising events to help fill the charity’s coffers.
We’ve adopted a charity every year since 2009 as it’s important to us to give something back and support good causes whenever we can.
We’re happy to offer our services for free for 12 months, and we also love to get involved in charity fund-raisers!
We adopted Headway Lincolnshire as our charity of the year for 2022 and have been supporting the charity with a range of services, from blogs, news releases and case studies to videos and website updates.
‘We have been very lucky to have received support from Shooting Star over the last year,” said Ann-Marie Smith, Co-ordinator and Development Officer at Headway Lincolnshire.
“The team at Shooting Star have helped us with all of our PR and marketing needs throughout the year, including updating our website, designing our 35th anniversary invites, promoting our
conference, writing case studies, and writing press releases ensuring that we have received media attention.
“They have also supported us with fundraising events including cycling from Lincoln to our office in Boston, a charity bucket collecting at Lincoln City FC and their famous annual Chippy Quiz!
“We cannot thank Molly, Jez, Kate and all the Shooting Star team enough for their support this year. The team really have made a big impact on our small but essential charity.”
