Four New Clients to Start The Year!

We’ve enjoyed a busy first quarter of 2025 and we’re delighted to have secured campaign work with three new clients (and one not so new!).

City of Lincoln Council has appointed Shooting Star to lead the PR and marketing for its new Cornhill Market, which underwent a £8.75 million regeneration and refurbishment in 2022 and reopened in May last year.

To highlight the businesses operating in the market, increase footfall and encourage other businesses to apply for a stall, we’re developing a marketing strategy and plan, promoting Cornhill Market events and managing social media channels.

We’re no strangers to the charity sector, so we were delighted to secure a contract to deliver a digital campaign for MARINElife, a UK-based charity dedicated to monitoring the populations of seabirds, whales, dolphins and seals around the UK and northwest Europe. It’s the only UK charity to monitor the numbers of both seabirds and marine mammals.

Our five-month campaign is about to start and has three objectives: to encourage people to register on courses to train as a field-based MARINElife volunteer, to increase engagement on social media, and to build awareness of the charity at a national level.

The 80th anniversary of VE Day is fast approaching, and we’ve been hired to deliver a PR campaign for the VE80 Lincoln project which combines education, sport and remembrance. A series of events have been planned between 8th and 11th May including an international youth rugby festival on 10th May involving over 280 young people from schools across the UK, France, the Netherlands and Jamaica.

Last year we delivered a successful series of events for business software company Forterro, and we’re pleased to say that they have asked us to support them again this year in project managing an important customer event in July. We will be offering venue search, event management and logistics for around 250 delegates.

We’re busy with new clients, but we’ve always got room for more! If your business or charity needs PR or marketing support, why not get in touch?
