Lincolnshire’s best loved fish-and-chips-themed quiz night is back!
The annual Shooting Star Chippy Quiz will return on Monday 24th November 2025, bringing people together for a night of brain teasers, fish and chips and fun and games.
Once again our friends at Elite Fish & Chips on Tritton Road will be hosting the quiz and providing supper, and we’re delighted to confirm Lincoln-based laser manufacturing specialist Micrometric as our main sponsor for the fourth year in a row!
This year the proceeds from this popular event will be going to our Charity of the Year for 2025, Thistles Market Garden in Sutterton near Boston.
Teams of up to four people are invited to bend their brains over nine rounds of questions and a fish and chips supper (or veggie / vegan alternative) at a cost of £100 per team.
There’s no limit on how many teams you can enter, so why not go crazy and enter two or even three teams? It all helps to raise money for a very worthy cause.
There will be a fabulous raffle on the night as well as other games and surprises, including a bonus prize for the best team name.
Our annual Chippy Quiz was first unleashed in 2013, and it’s always an entertaining evening of brain- teasers, fish and chips and fun and games. Since our first quiz night we’ve raised almost £12,000 for local charities.
