Shooting Star Expands Again! 

As the workload increases, the team is growing! Meet our three new shining stars. 

After taking on several large international clients in 2022 we’ve expanded our team. Abi Fitzsimons and Lizzie Blythe have joined the agency as account executives while Holly Townsend has been appointed as our new Rising Star intern. 

Holly previously completed work experience with Shooting Star while studying for her undergraduate journalism degree. She has since been recruited on a part-time basis as a marketing intern while she completes a master’s degree in creative advertising at the University of Lincoln. 

As a short-form video enthusiast, Holly has set up a new TikTok account for Shooting Star to help with employer branding and recruitment which has so far proved really successful.  

Holly loves being busy and is finding being around our experienced marketing team extremely motivating! 

Lizzie, who graduated from the University of Lincoln with a degree in marketing management, has joined the team after working for over a year in an in-house marketing role.  

Shooting Star is the first agency Lizzie has worked for, so she is excited to get to know our clients and how we help them to grow their businesses. 

Abi, who graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a degree in broadcast media technologies, brings a wide range of skills including photography, video editing and copy writing. 

Video production has been a huge growth area for the business in 2022 so as well as supporting Account Manager Maz Davis, Abi is looking forward to being able to put what she learned at university into practice at Shooting Star! 

2022 was a busy year for us at Shooting Star, and our three new recruits will not only work with existing clients but help us further develop the business and take advantage of new opportunities during 2023. 

Directors Jez and Kate and the rest of the team at Shooting Star have enjoyed a successful start to the New Year and are looking forward to the continued growth of the agency over the next 12 months and beyond.
