Shooting Star’s Rural Ramble for Lincolnshire Rural Support Network

The Shooting Star team are no strangers to a challenge as they get ready for their first charity fundraising of 2026.

We are aiming to walk 200 miles to support our Charity of the Year, the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network – which is the equivalent of walking the length of the county and back!

As well as getting our daily steps in for National Walking Month (May), we’ll be taking part in one big hike through the woods and hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds. This picturesque walk along part of the Viking Way is approximately 10.2 miles and will take about five hours to complete.

All the generous donations we receive will be going to, LRSN. The charity has dedicated team providing a lifeline for the agricultural and horticultural communities and allied industries in Lincolnshire.

The Lincolnshire Rural Support Network offers its services through one-to-one support, campaigns and a physical health and wellbeing service.

The Shooting Star team will be fundraising throughout the year as well as hosting our annual Chippy Quiz in November to raise much needed funds for the charity.

We’re also offering LRSN pro bono marketing and comms work throughout the year.

If you would like to support us reach our £500 fundraising target, please donate here on our Just Giving page.

We will be recording our progress over on FacebookInstagram and Linkedin, so be sure to follow us and keep up to date!
