Strong Six Months Spell Success for Shooting Star

The first half of 2026 has been one of our busiest to date, with a series of new client wins and successful campaigns that have laid strong foundations for the rest of the year.

We’re pleased to have been appointed by a range of organisations, including two of Lincolnshire’s best known charities: the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) and the International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC).

These latest appointments build on the flurry of contract wins at the end of 2025 and into early 2026, as more organisations continue to choose Shooting Star to help raise their profile, engage audiences and achieve their objectives.

One of those appointments was the Bentley Hotel & Spa, where we’re supporting the promotion of its refurbishment programme, beginning with the redevelopment of its gym and swimming pool, which is reopening to the public this summer.

Our work with LNAA has included supporting the launch of its Mission Possible 2 Appeal, a campaign to raise £500,000 towards funding a second life-saving helicopter.

We also supported the charity’s Lincoln Dragon Boat Festival and developed a campaign strategy, combining events, media relations and PR activity, to help generate awareness and encourage donations ahead of the planned arrival of the second helicopter in early autumn 2027.

Meanwhile, we’re delivering an ongoing PR campaign for the IBCC, helping to promote its programme of events, exhibitions and major announcements over the coming months. This includes a service of remembrance to mark Bomber Command’s 90th anniversary and exhibitions featuring previously unseen artefacts.

Alongside these projects, we’re also working with the Greater Lincolnshire Regional Defence and Security Cluster, Made Smarter East Midlands, Every-One and workplace giving platform Givicle, providing PR, marketing, digital and project management services.

Every client is different, which is exactly how we like it. From charities and manufacturers to hospitality, education and professional services, no two days at Shooting Star are ever the same.

Whether we’re securing media coverage, developing strategic campaigns or delivering digital marketing that generates enquiries, our focus remains the same – helping our clients become better known, connect with the right audiences and support their long-term growth.

Kate Strawson, Director of Shooting Star, said: “We’re delighted to be working with such a diverse range of organisations, particularly two charities that make such an important

contribution to our region.

“As we approach our 20th anniversary, it’s rewarding to see Shooting Star continuing to grow while staying focused on what matters most – delivering meaningful results for our clients.

“We’re an ambitious team that enjoys helping organisations achieve their goals. Seeing our clients succeed is what motivates us every day.”

Whether you need support with PR, social media, digital marketing, content creation or a fully integrated communications strategy, we’d love to help. Why not contact us and find out what we can do for you?
