Fifty Student Authors Unveiled for Inspiring New Book
Fifty student authors behind an inspiring new book on student life and the challenges to be overcome have been unveiled.
The book entitled ‘The Truth Behind the Filter’ is the second instalment of ‘You Are A Limited Edition’, which was published in March 2021, featuring 25 student authors who shared their stories to inspire, empower and provide reassurance to their peers.
The new book is a collaboration by 50 students from across the UK to share their voice and offer insight into their lived experiences.
Themes in the book include toxic masculinity, disability, mental health, social mobility, LGBTQ+, racism, imposter syndrome and bereavement. It will be published in March 2022.
Tonia Galati, Director of TG Consulting, the company behind the book, said: “All contributors have been incredible in showing their vulnerabilities, and have been a joy to work with over the last few months.
“‘The Truth Behind the Filter’ explores real life experiences from 50 amazing individuals. All at different stages of their lives and careers, they are united in their desire to share their stories of overcoming challenges, with a view to inspiring others.
“They have removed the filter and brought to you their authentic selves.
“This book would be a great resource for students at all levels as the stories are all very real, with the personality of each of the authors shining through.”
