TG Consulting and Enterprise Announce Social Mobility Partnership
Education and employability firm TG Consulting will partner with Enterprise Rent-A-Car on its employability and social mobility programme for students in February 2022.
TG Consulting specialises in student engagement, graduate employability, diversity and inclusion and works with higher education providers, corporates and SMEs to break down barriers to employment and improve access to opportunities for those individuals who face barriers to employment.
TG Consulting Director Tonia Galati said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Enterprise Rent-A-Car to support the discovery of the best talent for the UK economy, no matter their social mobility status, background or ethnicity.”
The new programme called RE:Action 24/7 Summit will provide 24 live sessions over seven weeks including inspirational keynotes, personal development seminars and aspirational employment masterclasses.
Tonia explained: “It is a collaborative programme, bringing together students from numerous institutions to share the experience. Our speakers and facilitators are diverse and are from assorted backgrounds to provide varied views and exposure to different experiences.
“Key themes include self-belief, confidence, overcoming adversity, positivity and mindset, resilience, adapting to change and networking.
“We work with institutions and organisations to remove the barriers which are in place for the under-represented.”
Clare Beynon, Talent Acquisition Marketing Manager UK/IRL at Enterprise Holdings, said: “At Enterprise we strongly believe everyone should have the ability to reach their full potential, irrespective of where they begin.
“We are delighted to partner with TG Consulting on their RE:Action 24/7 Summit to help undergraduates to do exactly that.
“After supporting a similar project with TG Consulting earlier this year, we quickly identified the value this programme brings to students and can’t wait to get started.”
Universities already signed up to the partnership are; Aston University, Leeds Beckett University, Queen Mary’s University London, University of Greenwich, Edge Hill University
and Middlesex University.
The programme will provide places for over 2,000 students, 300 students per university, thereby allowing universities to book places for cohorts or year groups to enhance and support their curriculum.
